About

In 2001, after over a decade as principal with a prominent Vancouver-based investment firm, Gallant founder Peter Lee made the decision to invest in his entrepreneurial passion. Peter sold his interest back to the Vancouver firm in order to pursue personal investment interests, which led to the establishment of Gallant Investment Partners.

Gallant’s portfolio grew with investments in technology, oil & gas, and mineral extraction, with roles in these companies ranging from passive investment, to advisory as a principal, to controlling shareholder. Gallant currently has investments in several companies based in Hong Kong and China in addition to North America and the UK and maintains its home base in Hong Kong.

Approximately 15 years ago Vancouver real estate piqued Peter’s interest and he began steering Gallant to mirror the investment activities of large, reputable investors. This led Gallant to hold investments in Vancouver landmark properties such as Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel, Woodward’s, the Shangri-La Hotel, and many others. Gallant’s real estate scope now extends beyond Vancouver into Hong Kong, the UK and Continental Europe.

Gallant’s investment portfolio has grown from simple beginnings to a diversified international portfolio of private equity, venture capital and real estate investments.
